It’s 6am. Your eyes fly open and you leap out of bed, eager to get the day started. You don your red work polo before grabbing your bag and heading out the door.

Corey
With over 12 years’ experience working within the City of Swan, Corey has progress through the ranks to be the Centre Manager for Swan Active Ballajura & Beechboro. Outside of work Corey is a family man, He enjoys getting away whenever possible to make as many memories with his family (when it’s not lawn bowl season).

Sarah
Leisure has always played a role in Sarah’s journey. The important role our centres play in the lives of our community members is a key focus and reason for working in the industry. When not at work Sarah will often be found outside, working in the garden, out hiking locally, spending time on the Bibbulmun track, camping. She also loves a good thunderstorm.

Tracey
Delivering great customer service. She is interested in travel, reading and getting together with friends and family. Tracey has been in the leisure industry for 23 years.

Michaela
Michaela has a strong leisure background working in events and administration management within the industry and her role is all about meeting with community members and new-comers to Swan Active (or as she likes to call it ‘making new friends’). She is high energy and thrives when working amongst people because she is passionate about bringing people together and being involved in physical activity. Fun fact: she’s a twin and can bust out the guitar and sing a few songs around the campfire, if needed.

Kaitlyn enjoys playing netball and volunteering with Girl Guides WA. With over 13 years in the industry Kaitlyn is passionate about drowning prevention programs and education for all members of the community.

Sarah is the Swim School Supervisor at Swan Active Beechboro with over 10 years’ experience in the industry across a multitude of roles. Sarah is passionate about Netball & Swimming and was even a part of Swan Hill swimming club at Midland for multiple years when she was younger. Sarah loves to study, travel and explore the outdoors.

Ethan
Ethan has a football and basketball background with a strong passion for coaching and teaching. Ethan is currently studying at ECU Joondalup to become a Secondary Sports and Outdoor Education Teacher.

Sarah
Sarah is passionate about sport and providing people opportunities to stay active and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. With experience in program development and competition management, Sarah is excited to oversee the Sports Halls and engage with the Midland community. A former netballer now turned coach, Sarah loves being a part of a team. More importantly, Sarah loves to have a bit of fun. On weekends, you’ll find her coaching netball, gardening, relaxing and spending time with friends and family.

Hannah is in charge of ensuring smooth running group fitness classes, supporting instructors, and engaging and assisting members. Hannah is energetic and passionate about Health and Fitness and takes any opportunity to upskilling to better assist the community special interests include training women after pregnancy and impact of exercise on your mental health. If Hannah has a day off you’ll find her enjoying down time with the family at the beach.

Rita effectively manages and delivers our group exercise timetable. Rita’s passionate about running classes that are safe, enjoyable and professional for all our members. Kellie has over 9 years of experience in the industry. Kellie began at Swan Active as a lifeguard and then made her way up the ranks, gaining experience in a few different roles. Kellie started her aquatic journey doing swimming lessons at Swan Active Ballajura and was a part of the Junior Lifeguard Club and squad programs. Kellie is passionate about water safety and educating the community. Kellie enjoys baking, all things creative and has a passion for growing her knowledge.

Applicants who can flex their ability to successfully fulfil the position requirements may progress through the selection process.
This process may include steps such as:
• Submitting a casual application form
• Stopping by for a meet and greet
• Providing your qualifications and experience
• Completing drug and alcohol screening
• Completing medical and referee checks
Information gathered during the selection process will help the hiring panel make a decision about the most suitable candidate.
Depending on the position you have applied for, you may need to complete certain checks and clearances. If this is required, it will be outlined in the job advertisement.
All positions require a police clearance and our Human Resources team may ask you to attend drug and alcohol testing or other medical checks prior to appointment.
